In the quiet light, Love is reaching.

It’s yours to hold, this candle in the wind.

Be still and know that even when you’re lost and lonely and hope is gone,

you’re not alone.

Far beyond the understanding, there’s a head,

a candle in the wind.

It leads if you believe,

through the darkness

to see the light, a candle in the wind with hands of faith.

You will find a way and when the journey leaves you weary

you can rest in the comfort of heaven’s sweet loving arms.

Peace will follow

Peace be with you always as you go.

For now you know that through the darkness

there’s a light, a candle in the wind.

But we are not stupid.

We have the candle within us that will guide.

With this candlelight, we each get wise

and we find that candlelight makes us work hard.

Candlelight means nothing

or to read a few words means nothing,

we agree.

Candlelight makes us join the classes.

Candlelight teaches us to depend on candlelight

no matter where we live.

Candlelight helps us

to read simple books

and write

and understand

this candle light.

The candlelight helps everyone who feels

like little children.

There are people who feel superior,

but please,

do understand our candle in the wind.
